This 2D planer beam program solves any indeterminate beam using the finite element method. Still in work ... it is fussy but works.
Starting and ending locations of each beam segments is input. Each segment is divided by user defined sub segments.
Each segment can have loads, properties, materials, and/or boundary conditions.
A section properties program is embedded so planer cross section area moment of inertia and stress recovery points can be input.
Results, include deflection, slope, shear, bending moment and stress distribution plots are calculated. Natural frequencies and shapes are also calculated for the unloaded beam.
Download includes many examples (*beam).
An equivalent NASTRAN finite element model is automatically created and can be used for validation or additional studies.
